Meet Dr. Kaplan Dau

She grew up in Pacific Grove. Now she cares for its pets.

Dr. Brynie Kaplan Dau opened Pacific Grove Animal Hospital in April 2021, happy to be back serving the town she grew up in. Our mission is simple: compassionate care, exceptional medicine.

Before veterinary school, Dr. Kaplan Dau earned a master's in marine science at Moss Landing Marine Labs and worked with sea turtles, marine fishes, and California seals and sea lions.

She went on to UC Davis for her DVM on the zoological medicine track, which is why our hospital sees exotics alongside cats and dogs.
